Summary
The New England Heat Modified Mass Timber Initiative is a private/public partnership that is both a materials research project with the aim of expanding timber building product applications for underutilized regional timber species as well as a public educational outreach program using a demonstration structure to educate the public about the benefits of timber construction using regional woods.
