Summary
The mandate of this research project is to investigate the viability of using mass timber as a structural framing material to construct healthcare facilities that require a 9 metre x 9 metre grid system, while at the same time supplying a system with a flat soffit and complying with the rigorous hygiene, maintenance and durability requirements of a modern healthcare facility.
